Depth

In this project, we were tasked with taking photos showing depth. We had three catagories to follow along including: Leading lines, Depth staging and repitition. For leading lines we needed to find different leading lines around the city that have a vanish point in the distance. For Repitition we found images with any sort of consistancy in the pattern. Depth staging, uses two subjects and to show that there is space between them. Overall this was a fun task and I think I got some good photos out of it.

  1. Your leading line photos are very successful in showing depth. In particular, I like you didn't just use horizontal leading lines but used vertical leading lines. I know the building is not that hight, but the way you shot it, created the illusion that it's a skyscraper.

  2. Hi Danny! Quick note- it would be helpful to know which type of depth thing you're executing. Reguardless of this TERRIBLE mistake you've made, these photos are fantastic! and very impressive for your very first set this year. You show great understand of the different ways you can show depth in a photo. I really enjoy you second to last photo. The red of the flowers and the red of the car look very nice next to each other. Awesome job this week!

  3. I really liked how you created depth by using repetition. I thought those were the most successful but overall you did a great job.
