Portraits 2nd half of the class

While taking the photo of Ben, I saw a crucial technique he used for the photo was making it have a shade of blue tint. I also needed a picture of an animal with a black background, or else the two photos layered on top of each other wouldn't blend well together.

In the process of taking a photo of David, I realized the black background was very important to make the figure of the person pop more. I think having a light shining on him was a good addition, because it added a slick look on his hair which I really liked.

The most important technique while taking these photos of Hayden I realized you had to be very precise with all of the cutting of the silhouette. I really like the sky background and I think it blended well with the wood background

The most important technique while taking photos of Jack, was finding a background with a lot of different colors to have each building and detail pop.

Portraits 1/2 of the class

While trying out Bethany's project, I realized the best way to create these images, is to start drawing different patterns. Use different shapes and lines to create a cool pattern in the background with a b&w photo.

When I was attempting to recreate Ozzies kind of landscapes, I realized it was hard to get a photo of him with a landscape, because there isn't much nature in the city. I saw most of his photos were in black and white, so I decided to make mine in black and white also. Another technique I saw was he took photos from the ground, that made it look like he was looking straight up.

While trying out Malias project, I think this was the hardest one to get the hang of. It is hard to get photos that compliment each other, and don't make it look like she has four eyes. I also made the photos B&W which made them look really good.

Declan created short exposure photos, where he would move the camera, or even drop it with the band around his neck. A tough part for me while taking photos of him, was getting photos with his face that didn't completely blur out his face.

Pablo did light painting with Stefan and I. I think what really improved our photos, was putting different colors over our lights, this allowed us to have a lot more creativity. All of his photos are in color, which I think is essential with light painting

Stefan Pablo and I all worked together while light painting. Stefan liked to have different abstract space themed photos. I think his technique was to have a subject, then go into PicMonkey and edit the photos.
